
I wrote this because everything feels like it is on fire. Every conversation I have had since the onset of COVID-19 has made it impossible to ignore the agonizing and inevitable undoing of fascism. The need for lasting, shared, and accessible community infrastructure is abundantly clear, but how do we get there? What work is required of each of us?
This zine aims to be a starting place for working with/for your community, with intention. This is by no means a definitive guide. As you read this zine, I hope you find:

long gone are the days of meeting your soulmate IRL. with an endless stream of profiles, online dating feels uncontainable, ubiquitous, and inescapable. not to mention, dating apps have concerning ties with tech companies ushering in the era of techno-authoritarianism. is it too much to as that our values (and our data) NOT be compromised in our search for love?

astrology teaches us that our lives can be divided into 12 domains, or houses. the 12th house is considered to be a “hidden” house: a house of secrets and home to our personal and ancestral ghosts. what happens when a luminary is tucked away in the dark recesses of the 12th house? when the radiance of the sun, representing self and spirit, is forced to go into hiding?
